Rex Evans was born into a family with deep pockets and dubious reputations. After his father’s death – ruled a suicide but unofficially attributed to the mafia he was believed to do business with – his autopsy revealed some minor similarities between their DNA and that of Gruffudd ap Llywelyn, King of Wales. Now, Rex, is utterly convinced that he is the heir to the throne, and looks to gain supporters for a coup through the PWA.
For eons men have sought divine wisdom. They have bartered their souls for a fleeting glimpse of the world of light and wonder that exists just behind the gossamer veil of their limited understanding. Cassidy Cray has seen beyond this veil. With his third eye wide open he has stared unflinchingly at the divine and unknowable and come away changed by the righteous experience. And my brothers and sisters… he is coming to PWA to share his wisdom with the masses. Fall on your back on the mat and stare up at the divine lights of truth and understanding. When you submit to the word of the prophet, the people will raise their voices in glory. Cassidy Cray has been called many thing by believers and heretics alike. All of them are true. He IS the Warrior Prophet… he IS the Keeper or the Keys… he IS the Pinfall Wizard… and with him comes glory and understanding. With his unlikely ally, the ominous and foreboding Bokrug Manaj, he represents the singularity… the totality is all things… the yin and the yang… the Alpha and Omega. Prepare yourselves PWA. For the end… and the beginning… is nigh.
Bokrug is a despondent youth, immersed in the bastardized cultures of the Scandinavian black metal scene and American shock rock. Perpetually bored and brooding, Bokrug seems to be Cassidy Cray’s polar opposite in every way, which makes the team dynamic between the two all the more intriguing. Opposites may attract, but can opposite personalities cooperate to find success in PWA’s tag team division?
Rhett stands at 6’2″ tall and weighs in at 220lbs. His size hides the raw strength and athleticism he has for only being the unseasoned age of 23. While the majority of crowd he’s performed in front of tend to favor his opponents, Rhett has a way of pulling at the strings of a crowd like a puppeteer to push more salt in the wound of his Victims.
“The Divine Psycho” Yamasaki Nakamura is a product of Japanese hardcore wrestling. Learning from such legends as Crazyman Master Tohgoh and Kabukiman the Kagura, Nakamura has lust for blood and no regard for the rules, his opponent’s well-being, or his own safety. He will go to any lengths to injure or maim his opponent and currently holds the longest losing streak in wrestling history at 1,427 straight losses, all of them coming via disqualification or countout.
Spencer stands about 5’11” and just shy of 200 lbs. His technical aptitude combined with his sometimes no guts no glory style have caught the attention of high school gymnasiums and bingo halls across the south east.
Derrik Arzon is the ultimate wrestling fanboy, a walking encyclopedia of significant dates and stats that he spews forth like a fire hose, whether bidden or unbidden. Always looking for a way into the business, he finally succeeded in carrying the bags of one “Broadway” Bobby Fame (without Fame’s knowledge or consent). Arzon tripped over the floor, resulting one of the most incredible bumps in history, and inspiring Fame to get Arzon a contract (so he could legally cripple Arzon in the the ring). Arzon leaped at the chance to be make his heroes his peers and quickly became an underground sensation (laughingstock). Now, “Lightning” is looking to strike in PWA.
“Insane” Jack Lane grew up loving professional wrestling and idolized stars such as Greco Wyld, Adam Smash, Kazuma, and Irv Sweet as well as a host of 80’s wrestlers. Even though he’s in his early 20’s, Lane has an affinity for 80’s and 90’s hip hop and R&B which results in him overusing slang from that era.
Lane is a dynamic wrestler with an impressive aerial attack. He has what some would call a reckless style but he calls it “high impact”. Lane can strike from all angles and never backs down from a fight. He has worked various independent promotions with success but is eager to prove himself on a bigger stage. Lane is a fan favorite and always seems to draw a huge female following at his matches. Security has had to be reinforced on more than one occasion so that Lane could make it to the ring without being mobbed by female fans.
