Brian Fury & Derrik Arzon vs. Akira Wyld & Brawler Beckett

*As the camera fades in the cheers of the crowd and what seems to be the sound of Gary Bloomfield is heard. The camera comes into focus in an old gym with a ring at the center. The cheers of the PWA Armada filling the empty room with Gary Bloomfield screaming in excitement.*

*The camera pans past weight benches, heavy bags, speed, bags, and mirrors reflecting the gym giving the illusion it goes forever. A radio sits on a bench where the Armada and Bloomfield are echoing from. As the camera gets closer Bloomfield’s voice is heard clearly as he screams “He hit the Fatal Fury! One! Two!”*

*The lights flicker off and on. The radio has been replaced with the Mask of Tiger Fury. Next to the mask is an unlit blue candle that looks to have been burned once before. A fog begins to roll in from the doors and vents of the gym as the camera inches closer to the bench.*

*The lights flicker again and the tick-tock of countless clocks begin as the lights come back on to reveal a now torn and blood-soaked Tiger Fury Mask. The candle seemingly lights itself as the fog creeps higher and the tick-tock of clocks get louder. A scream erupts in the gym causing the mirrors to explode and the camera man to drop the camera and run. The camera left pointing at a shard of glass with only the reflections of the mask and candle as the flame dances from one to another.*

*The screen fades.*

***Almost immediately after the timekeeper rings the bell, Brawler Beckett rolls to ringside and grabs a nearby steel chair. He quickly slides in the ring… and blindsides Derrick Arzon with a vicious shot to the head. While cursing under his breath, he begins to assault the stunned Arzon with vicious punches and kicks. Suddenly, Beckett is hoisted rudely off his feet by the mammoth arms of Brian Fury. The gigantic man throws Beckett like a sack of potatoes across the ring where he crashes in a heap by the opposite turnbuckle, the chair flying from his hands. Fury turns to check on the fallen Arzon… and is immediately leveled with a hard Akira-kick that blindsides him and drops him to the mat. Akira Wyld stands in the ring over Fury with a dead-eyed expression on his face.***

Bloomfield: “What the Hell?! The Union has already won this match, there is no need for any of this!”

***Cursing and scowling, Brawler Beckett drags himself back to his feet and gestures broadly at the entrance ramp. Akira looks from Beckett to the ramp entrance, where Nick Spoils, Nakamura Yamasaki, and Gehenna all appear and begin making their way to the ring. Beckett kicks Arzon one more time and rolls out of the ring. He reaches under the apron and pulls out the Union Dues shinai. He throws it deftly into the ring, where Akira catches it. Beckett then slides back into the ring and recovers his chair. He sets it up over the recovering Derrick Arzon and sits down firmly on it, pinning him helplessly to the ground. Meanwhile, Akira stands over the recovering Brian Fury looking at his shinai pensively. He then eyes the approaching Union members. After a moment’s hesitation, Akira sneers, looks down at Fury, and then viciously lays into him four times with the shinai. Loud boos echo through the arena. Akira looks coldly at the stick… and then rolls out of the ring before Spoils and his crew can enter. Akira brushes past Spoils and beckons impatiently for them to follow him backstage. Spoils shoots Akira a confused look, and then turns and looks at Beckett who is still seated in the ring over Arzon. Beckett puts his hands on his hips and raises an eyebrow as he watches Akira leave. Beckett looks at Spoils and puts his hands up in confusion. Spoils rubs his beard and looks at the fallen men in the ring. After a moment he shrugs and beckons for Gehenna and Nakamura to follow him back up to the entrance ramp.***

***As they leave, Beckett shakes his head in disgust and stands up. He paces around he ring for a moment, sighs, and turns to leave himself… but then stops. He sneers and goes back to Arzon, who is just now regaining his footing, and kicks him hard, sending him crashing awkwardly into the still-propped-up chair. Beckett gets in Arzon’s face and trash talks him for a moment, then stands, smiling and satisfied. He then turns around… and walks right into the chest of a completely recovered Brian Fury. Beckett’s eyes go wide and Fury levels him with a mammoth clothesline. Beckett curses wildly and rolls to the floor clutching the back of his head. Fury bellows with rage as Beckett scrambles up the entrance ramp, looking hurt and angry. Fury’s music plays as he hoists Arzon briskly to his feet and raises his hand.***
