***Cameras follow Akira Wyld backstage as he makes his way to the arena entrance for his King of Deathmatch tournament contest. He walks with purpose, smoothing the wrist tape on each arm and keeping his neck and arms loose. A loud SLAM is heard just off to the left of the camera. Akira startles and a huge hand reaches out and grabs Akira by the collar of his leather jacket. Akira clutches the wrist of the hand that has hold of him when he is violently pulled almost off of his feet toward the left side of the hallway. The camera finally reacts in time to see Akira pulled into a room and the door slam shut. Sounds of struggle emit from beyond the shut door. The camera cuts away back to Gary Bloomfield.***

BLOOMFIELD: “Ladies and gentlemen, as you saw, Akira Wyld was just attacked backstage. Nakamura is on his way out, I have no idea what this means for our match, but it seems like Nakamura Yamasaki just got a bye…”
