PWA Light Heavyweight Championship – Spencer Watts vs. Pantaro vs. Brawler Beckett

***Mexican Hairless plays, and Snow and La Nieve step out on to the ramp. Snow takes in the crowd’s cheers for a while before patting the belt over his shoulder, and the two of them make their way to the ring. Snow grabs a microphone, but before he can start speaking the crowd starts chanting “Please don’t go” over and over. He listens to it for a while, the emotion in his eyes visible even through the mask. Finally, he holds his hands up for silence, and the crowd’s noise slowly fades away.***

SNOW: “Thank you so much for that. I can’t tell you how much it means to me. My time here with the PWA Armada has been absolutely incredible. I’ve poured my blood, sweat, and tears into this company, and the heights it has reached in my time here has been inspiring. And the Light Heavyweight division in particular is just scratching the surface of where it can go. The competitors in this division are strong, and I look forward to seeing where PWA goes from here.”

SNOW: “And even beyond that. I have had one hell of a career in this ring and others like it. I’ve put on shows that brought you guys to your feet. I’ve…made some questionable decisions as well. Even brought one of those questionable decisions out of the mothballs a couple weeks back, and earlier tonight you saw why. I’ve had some great feuds. Great friends, and even some great enemies. And I wouldn’t trade a single moment of it for the world.”

SNOW: “And now it’s time for to put it all behind me. I can still go, obviously, but for how much longer? How many more matches before I’m just staring at the lights every time I step into this ring? How much longer before I fall and cannot get up? No, it’s time. While I’m still able to, it is time to step away and help bring the next generation into the limelight.”

***Snow pauses for a moment, drinking in the crowd noise. He pulls the belt off his shoulder and stares at it for some time before raising the microphone again.***

SNOW: “And now for the bittersweet moment of the evening. It’s been amazing being champion again, but one cannot hold onto titles when one isn’t an active competitor. So…I hereby relinquish the PWA Light Heavyweight Championship. There is a match coming up in just a few moments that will determine your new champion, and I wouldn’t hold that in abeyance at all. So, referee, if you would?”

***Snow hands the belt over to the referee, holding on to it tightly for just a moment before he lets it go.***

SNOW: “Now then. What do you all say about letting two of the best damned light heavyweights to ever lace up their boots show Brawler Beckett what’s what? Yeah? Ok then. Sound guys, hit the music!”
