Richard Pennnyworth, III vs. Brian Fury (C) – PWA Heavyweight Championship

**Terry Schneider stands backstage with Richard Pennyworth, III.**

SCHNEIDER: “Early tonight, we heard from new PWA Heavyweight Champion Brian Fury about his first title defense tonight against the man standing with me at this time, former champion Richard Pennyworth, III. Richard, what are your thoughts as you enter the ring tonight against the man who took your heavyweight title from you at Vendetta?”

Pennyworth: “Terry, I-“

**Pennyworth is suddenly tackled from off-camera by a huge figure in black with a silver mask. Terry gets out of the way as the Spoiler lays in right hands to the face of Pennyworth, who is doing his best to cover up. Spoiler then pries Pennyworth’s hands from his head and slaps on an iron claw! Pennyworth tears desperately at the Spoiler’s vice-like grip to no avail, and the Spoiler continues to apply pressure until Pennyworth’s struggles cease. Spoiler then leans in toward Pennyworth.**

SPOILER: “Sorry, Dick, but tonight’s just not your night. Your stock has crashed while mine is on the rise. Time for a hostile takeover!”

**With that, the Spoiler releases the iron claw from Pennyworth and heads to the ring.**

*Spoiler and Fury are both on the ground outside the ring, when there’s a burst of classical music as Richard Pennyworth III rushes the ringside area. He makes it to the ring even before the first phrase of his music has finished, making a beeline for Spoiler, who has gotten back to his feet. Pennyworth lands the first punch, causing the referee to call for the bell, and the two start trading blows back and forth. Pennyworth is obviously the fresher man, however, and soon takes control, finishing Spoiler off with a devastating looking DDT on the entrance ramp. Spoiler lays there unconcious as Pennyworth grabs a microphone from the ring announcer.*

PENNYWORTH: I spent an entire season being harassed by Rhett Holiday. I’m not going through that again. Spoiler, when you wake up and watch this video, know one thing. We’re not through. You say my stock has crashed, that yours is on the rise? Spoiler, you should know never to look at the short term gains. I play the long game, baby, and you just stepped into my playground.

PENNYWORTH: Fury…I’ll be back for that. For now, it seems I have other business to take care of.

*Pennyworth drops the microphone on Spoilers chest, gives him one last kick, and walks out of the arena.*

BLOOMFIELD: “Folks, that’s going to do it for us tonight! Thank you for joining us for PWA Assault and good night!
