Brian Fury vs. Richard Pennyworth, III

*As both men get back their feet, the crowd cheers madly for the match they are witnessing! Fury and Pennyworth circle each other, looking for an opening. Suddenly the ring fills with the Union! “Brawler” Beckett, Gehenna, Nakamura Yamasaki, and Akira Wyld storm the ring and pair off, each pair attacking and bludgeoning both Fury and Pennyworth!*

*As Brian Fury rebounds off the ropes, Nakamura and Beckett get in position execute a double clothesline, taking the big man off of his feet again. Gehenna picks Pennyworth up and holds him in place as Akira sets up and delivers a stunning Akira Kick! Pennyworth falls backward and rolls out of the ring, momentarily motionless on the floor outside of the ring. Inside the ring, Fury struggles to his feet, surrounded by all four members of the Union. Fury grits his teeth, glaring at each attacker in turn, then charges Akira and tackles him, landing right hand after right hand as quickly as he can. Akira screams and covers up as best he can. In no time, Beckett, Gehenna and Nakamura are on Fury, pounding away at his back and ripping him off of Wyld. Fury takes a wild swing at Nakamura, kicks Gehenna away, and then crumbles to the mat as Beckett kicks Fury’s knees out from under him. Fury very slowly gathers himself back to his feet. He is almost upright when Beckett grabs his head from behind and hooks it, then drops Fury with a Birminghammer! The four Union attackers look down on Fury, and Fury struggles back to his feet! Gehenna takes Fury down once again and locks in the Hades Lock! Nakamura ascends the top rope and rips off his shirt, to reveal a long strand of barbed wire wrapped three times around his torso! With a cry of sheer blood lust, Nakamura leaps from the top turnbuckle and lands a Blood Tsunami splash on Fury, who is still trapped in the Hades Lock! Outside, Pennyworth has collected his title belt and is quickly making his way up the ramp to leave, not daring to look back behind him. In the ring, Fury exhausted, battered, and now bleeding from his chest and abdomen, flails and thrashes as best he can, trying vainly to escape the submission. Akira taps Gehenna on the shoulder. Gehenna reluctantly release the Hades Lock and all four Union members again look down on a surrounded Brian Fury. Brian clutches at his stomach in agony, and slowly backs himself on the mat towards the rope. Akira tells Fury to just stay down. Fury grits his teeth and slowly begins using the ropes to climb back up! Akira motions to Beckett, who dives under the ropes and lifts the apron skirt, reaches under the ring, and then slides back in with Akira’s Union Dues shinai! Akira grabs the weapon from Beckett and stalks Fury, still holding the ropes in an effort to stay upright. Akira swings for the fences at Fury’s abdomen, and a sickening CRACK! echoes throughout the arena! Akira rears back and strikes again across Fury’s back! Fury’s throws his head back and arches his back, screaming in pain and anger, but is still on his feet! Akira’s face becomes a mask of hatred. He strikes Fury in the abdomen again, doubling Fury over, and executes a Surgical Strike! Akira scrambles to his feet and beings laying shot after shot with the Union Dues across Fury’s back and head until Fury lies motionless. Akira lifts the Union Dues over his head… and the entire arena goes dark, except for an image on the giant screen above the entrance.*

*Shadows dance in a moonlit forest as the sounds of laughter fill the cool night air. Footsteps pace through the dead leaves and twigs littered across the ground. As the camera moves with the steps, a scorched plot of earth leaves a clear path to the remains of a piece of furniture.

As the cammera aproaches the chared heap of now damp and soot covered wood, the moonlight reveals little shimmers of itself in the metal peices that remain in place. The laughter is replaced with a blood curdling scream before the camera spins around to see nothing but a blue candle as the clouds roll past the moon. As the darkness falls, the candle seems to light itself before the camera falls to the ground, focusing on the flame.*
