*Ragnarok stands tall over Brian Fury, glaring down at his foe. Without moving, he turns his head to Spoils, and puts out one giant fist. He sticks out a thumb, and points it downwards, then grabs Fury in position for a powerbomb. Fury isn’t done yet, though, and he stands up, executing a perfect back body drop before turning to the others. Fury throws fists fast and furious, dropping first one man, then another. For one brief shining moment, it looks like he’s going to take down all four men and stand victorious.*
*The numbers game proves to be too much, however, as while Fury’s focus is on Nakamura, Spoils is able to grab a chair and level him once again. Clutching his head in pain, Fury drops to the ground, and instantly, Nakamura is on top of him. Without hesitation, Nakamura drives his face towards Fury’s head and starts gnawing on the big man. Fury tries desperately to fight out, and eventually manages to throw off Nakamura, rolling to his side — only to be grabbed by Gehenna and trapped in the Hades Lock.*
*Fury screams in pain, as Ragnarok, Nakamura, and Spoils take turns kicking his sides to make the lock that much more painful. Eventually, even Fury is overwhelmed and starts tapping out. Gehenna keeps the hold on, but Spoils stops the kicking, and leans into Fury’s face. His voice can be heard clearly despite the lack of microphone.* “I told you to back off, Brian. I tried to prevent this. But you didn’t listen. Tap out or Knockout, Brian, right? Well, you’ve stepped in it this time. Next week, you and Gehenna. Submission match. You will tap out, Brian. And it’ll be all your fault.”
*This seems to reinvigorate Fury. With a roar of frustration, he forces the Hades Lock to break, and manages to hit a Fatal Fury on the surprised Spoils, and gets Gehenna in position for it before eating simultaneous superkicks from Ragnarok and Nakamura. Gehenna escapes as Ragnarok pick Fury up, and hits Awaken the Serpent–not once, but twice in a row. Laid out on the ground, he is easy pickings for the now barbed-wire wrapped Nakamura to leap off the top rope, leaving Fury bleeding with a Blood Tsunami. Ragnarok goes for a third Awaken the Serpent but Gehenna put his hands on Ragnarok’s chest. He can’t be heard, but the implication of what he says is clear.* “Save some for me.”
*”Charisma” blares through the arena speakers and Damion Black walks out, dressed to the nines as always, his expression is all business. Microphone in hand, Damion addresses the men in the ring.*
BLACK: “Nick Spoils, I have had all the blatant interference and manipulation from you and your men as I am going to take. The distractions during your charges matches are going to stop starting tonight. Your interference as well as that of Gehenna and Nakamura clearly cost Brian Fury the win here tonight. Therefore, I am hereby REVERSING the referee’s decision and awarding the victory by disqualification to Brian Fury! Furthermore, while I understand personal issues and vendettas are a natural part of our sport, the health of the men I hire to compete is of utmost importance to me, and I will NOT tolerate such vicious attacks from you or anyone else! Therefore, Nakamura, Gehenna, and yourself Nick Spoils, are all fined $50,000 each for your flagrant interference and the brutal, unprovoked attack after the match! Finally, you issued a challenge to Brian Fury for a submission match next week. Pending a medical clearance for Fury after this heinous assault, that submission match will happen! And, it will be no disqualification! AND, Nick Spoils, you and all of your associates are BARRED from ringside! So help me, if any of you show up at that submission match you will be fined and suspended! Now Nick, take your tag team and your pitbull, pack your stuff and get OUT of my arena IMMEDIATEY!”
