Brawler Beckett vs Derrik Arzon?

GARY BLOOMFIELD:  “Ladies and gentlemen, up next we have “Brawler” Beckett scheduled for in-ring action to welcome a newcomer to PWA, “Lightning” Derrik Arzon! Let’s take you to ringside!”

“Fairies Wear Boots” blares from the arena speakers as “Brawler” Beckett makes his way to the ring, looking as full of himself as ever. He enters the ring to a chorus of “boos” and appears to care not a whit. Rubbish, including a few batteries, fly into the ring, but Beckett only sneers a smug, self-satisfied smile, as though he’s won some moral victory or something.

As he waits for his opponent, “Fluke” comes on over the arena speakers and and a very excited “Lightning” Derrik Arzon emerges on the ramp, elated at making his debut. As Arzon makes his way to the ring, high-fiving the fans, Snow comes out and runs up behind Arzon, stopping him about halfway down the ramp. As Beckett, now appearing perturbed, looks on, Snow converses with Arzon, pointing to Beckett in the ring and then to himself. Snow pulls out a clipboard, showing a ticket on top of what looks like a contract; flipping to the last page, he points out something to Arzon. With a grin, Snow hands Arzon the clipboard, and Arzon vigorously shakes Snow’s hand. While Snow gestures for security to make a spot, Arzon waves the ticket above his head, and takes a front row seat. Beckett, realizing Snow has just taken his opponent’s place, begins furiously protesting to the ref and shaking his head in denial and pointing angrily at Snow. Snow makes his way towards the ring, pointing at Beckett as he runs.

Beckett slips outside of the ring to protest to the announcer. Closer to the mike, Beckett can be heard; “… on here! I made it clear- no, you shut your mouth! I made it absolutely clear, that I am not wrestling that man! Now you announce Derrik Arse-wand or whatever his name is, and-” As he continues his tirade, Snow enters the ring and the ref warns Beckett to enter the ring to wrestle. Beckett jumps up on the apron, shouting and pointing threateningly at the ref, who who is having none of it. Beckett enters the ring to get in the ref’s face and the referee signals for the match to start. The bell rings. Beckett, his eyes now as big as saucers, begins to protest but immediately gets pulled back into a single leg take-down by Snow. Visibly panicking, his arms flailing, Beckett rolls through the take-down and all the way out of the ring. The ref begins to count Beckett out, and the crowd, elated, counts along. Beckett continues to protest.

As the ref reaches 15, Beckett waves everyone in the ring off and heads up the ramp. As Beckett reaches the end of the ramp, a camera man approaches him, and Beckett advances threateningly at him: “Get out of my face! this is not over!” Beckett turns to the ring, shaking his fist: “This is NOT over!” The ref reaches 20 and calls for the bell, awarding Snow a victory by count-out.
