***After the match, the referee checks on La Nieve while Spencer Watts paces back and forth in the ring with his belt. He disrespectfully steps ‘over’ La Nieve as he thrusts his belt high in the air and the crowd boos. He dumps his title on the mat in front of him and calls for a microphone. An attendant throws him a wireless mic and Watts leans over the ropes casually to address the fans.***

WATTS: “What have I been saying all along, huh? NOBODY in the light heavyweight division can hold a candle to the Blueprint. I proved it tonight like I do EVERY time I’m in the ring. You all may not like me, or how I treat this gold strap, but you can’t deny that I’m a FIGHTING champion. Nobody disrespects ME. EVERYBODY who gets in my way gets what’s coming to them. I showed La Nieve tonight when I beat her in the center of the ring, I showed that pathetic loser, Mighty Cobra when I broke his best buddy’s arm on Assault, and I’ll show the next chump that decides to get in my way! I am the BLUEPRINT Spencer Watts, and I am your Light Heavyweight Champion whether you like it or…”

***Suddenly, a disheveled and furious-looking MIGHTY COBRA sprints down to the ring! Watts drops the microphone and goes to roll out of the ring, but suddenly realizes he left his belt on the mat. He turns to grab it and is intercepted by Cobra! The crowd explodes as Cobra starts raining down haymakers on Watts’ face and chest! Cobra throws Watts to the ropes and rears back to blast him in the face with mist on the rebound… but Watts manages to avoid the rebound by grabbing ahold of the rope and dragging himself to the floor. He angrily checks his jaw as he backs up the entrance ramp. Inside the ring, Cobra paces like a caged animal. He notices Watts has left his belt in the ring and snatches it up. He rears back to throw it at Watts… but then stops. He takes the belt in both hands and gently wipes it off, polishing the surface with one gloved hand. He looks from Watts to the belt and back again. Watts runs back to the edge of the ring and demands Cobra give it back. Cobra gives a little unhinged smile and points to the belt. Watts sneers and takes a step back. Cobra gently tosses the belt to Watts and backs up with his arms spread wide. Watts grabs the belt and begins backing up toward the entrance area with a wary look on his face. Off-mic he can be heard talking to Cobra.***

WATTS: “No way in hell, loser. Not tonight, not EVER. You aren’t even CLOSE to deserving a shot at THIS.”

***Watts turns and stomps away through the entrance area. Cobra sinks to his knees and breathes heavy as he watches him go. Cobra looks down at his hands… and then very deliberately runs them through his hair, smoothing it back. He looks up at the lights and nods.***
