*** MacElroy yanks his hand away from the referee as the crowd cries out a mixture of cheers and shouts of “Traitors!” MacElroy kneels at Fame’s side and checks on him, carefully testing his neck and lightly cuffing his face a bit. Gradually, Fame comes to, shaking his head as MacElroy helps him to his feet. As soon as Fame can stand on his own, the two competitors look each other in the eye. Mac nods, and they shake hands. He then helps the still off-kilter Fame out of the ring. As they head up the aisle to The Camp’s locker room, both cheers and rubbish are thrown at them. ***
