The scene opens in the all to familiar dungeon style room. The mahogany leather chair sits in the center with a small end table to the left of it. An unlit cigar rests on an ash tray and a glass of scotch sits next to it with beads of condensation resting on the glass. A small lamp with green stained glass shades illuminate just enough of the area. Muffled screams echo in past the squeak of metal hinges. Foot steps are heard just before Rhett Holiday steps on screen. His white slacks stained in small spots of blood spatter but not as much as his chest and arms. He wipes blood from his face then from his scared arms and hands with a white handkerchief in a mocking attempt to show a level of dignity. Once seated he lights the cigar and releases a puff of smoke through the air.
Holiday: "The scars I wear are my badges of victory... Like a General I will wear these badges, these medals, with pride and honor. Everyone was earned through self sacrifice.. Some from opponents who claim to have defeated me and some from clear domination of the poison that once plagued this company..."
Holiday sets the cigar along the ashtray rolling some of the ash from the end. He then proceeds to run his fingers across the newer, not yet healed wounds.
Holiday: "But of all my memories, these will forever be my favorite. I have you to thank for these Arzon. We all but destroyed each other for our own heroic purpose. You to protect those you love. To be the martyr for love and friendship! And me... I was willing to sacrifice the only thing I have left to snuff out the noxious vile hope that you so willingly spread to all the sheep. For all that you've done and for all that we've endured... I thank you..."
Muffled screams get louder coming from the other room. The sound of children's laughter follows as the start to chant.
Evelyn and Oliver in unison: "He's gonna stay and play! He's gonna stay and play! Come on Mr. Holiday! He's really strong!"
Holiday stands leaving the bloodstained handkerchief on the table and begins to make his way back to the other room. He motions for the camera to follow. As the camera approaches the door a large man with a blue velvet cloth draped over him, is laid on an alter like table with a candelabra at the head of it. Thirteen candles rest in it with all but two lit. The man on the table seems to be struggling against something but nothing is seen holding him down. Blood drips from the sides of the alter making the cloth almost black where it touched.
Holiday: "You see Arzon, you were never my enemy... Only the gatekeeper to our true destiny... All I needed from you was to turn the key..."
Shadows begin to dance on the walls as the flames of the candles burn brighter. The man on the alter struggles and screams in pain again before falling limp. The cloth still raises and lowers with his breath but slower than before. Holiday smiles his devilish grin and winks at the camera making his way to the alter. He lifts the cloth revealing an unconscious Bryan Fury.
Holiday: "Like I've always said! THEY'LL ALL FALL!"
The door slams shut on the camera and the feed is cut.
