*** At the MLW broadcast table, Nick Van Anderson is ready to read the news! ***

VAN ANDERSON: “Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages, wrestling fans around the world! This is the Maaaaaaaaaaaain Liiiiiiiiiiiiiine Rundown! A quick look at all the news and hooks going on in the world of MLW! And we begin with Roderick Kent and The Syndicate, who had some strong words for Bobby Fame and Kevin Starr!

*** Roderick Kent stands in front of The Syndicate. One one side are “Iron” Mike Hammer and Max “Claw” Hammer, wearing a neckbrace On the other, “The Beast” Tyson Bradley and the MLW Heavyweight Champion, “The Enforcer” Jackson Baines. ***

KENT: “Kevin Starr and Bobby Fame? More like Kevin Dumb and bobby Dumber! You see this here? This here is nearly twelve hundred pounds of destruction! More man meat than you can shake a stick at! This ain’t a bunch of scrubs like the Wyld Babies or the Farces of Nature! This here is The Syndicate, the genuine article! You boys slow? You got a death wish? We can make that happen! And you got some other scrub with you? Billy Cody? Ricky Bobby? It doesn’t even matter! We’ll crush you all! So keep your noses out of other people’s business before you get wrecked, you backwards hillbilly punks!!!”

*** Mike Hammer takes the mic from Kent who seems to be just warming up. Kent glowers ***

MIKE: “Alpha Omega, I gotta give you guys props. You have a rep, and you showed it back there. It was champion against champion, and you came out on top this time! Credit where credit is due. But Fame? Starr? What my man here said is true. You don’t run up on The Syndicate without some serious consequences. So, you’d better watch your backs, and keep one eye open when you sleep at night! You got the drop on us once, I guarantee you that next time, the Hammer is coming down on you!”

*** Cut back to the MLW broadcast table ***

VAN ANDERSON: “Folks, it looks like the Duke boys - I mean uh Fame and Starr are really in some hot water this time! We also had some words from Tiger Black, so let’s have a listen!”

*** Tiger Black stands in front of a black backdrop, pacing back and forth, seething behind his mask ***

T. BLACK: “Once again, another pathetic display from that false idol, Tiger Gold! We both know - and everyone watching at home can see - that you’re a fool, a weakling and a fraud! I am the one most deserving of wearing this mask! For years now, you’ve sullied its name and its meaning! Yet you claim to be some sort of hero? Some sort of champion! You make me sick! Sooner or later, Gold, there will be a reckoning between us. If I have to come to your PWA and make that happen, I shall. But in the meantime, I will prove my legitimacy and my legacy one match at a time! And I will start with the MLW Heavyweight Champion, Jackson Baines!
You do not frighten me, Baines! No man does! I will take you down like the frightened antelope you are! Then perhaps I will come to take your belt!

Beware, wrestling world! A true Tiger lays waiting in the reeds!”

VAN ANDERSON: “Some strong words from Tiger Black! I sure hope he can back them up! Speaking of Jackson Baines, the medical report is in, and his opponent in the MLW Heavyweight title match, Eric Carter, will be out for at least a month! He suffered a broken jaw and some minor skull fractures, so we’re wishing him a speedy and full recovery! Max Hammer also remains day to day after a knockout from Scott Williams’ Javelin Missile Dropkick, as well as a submission to Bokrug’s Black Embrace!
