Setting the Pace

***Scene opens to the locker room area, where Brian Ellingson stands next to The Factor with mic in hand. Factor is wearing his usual silver leather jacket, but underneath is a black Greco Wyld School of Wrestling polo shirt, with ALDO WYLD: FOUR MORE YEARS! on the front in what appears to be white spraypaint***

ELLINGSON: "Hello wrestling fans! Brian Ellingson back at you with another dynamic interview! I'm stuck-uh.. honored to be interviewing The Factor again! Factor, what di-"

***Factor just straight up grabs the mic***

FACTOR: "Thanks for that, Brian! Man, it was good to be back in the catbird seat again on Battery! Starting the show, setting the pace! You know, some people were saying Johnny did all the work winning our cage match at Season's Beatings, but after getting the dub over both Pennyworth and the Hard Man, I guess you can write that one off as fiction! Don't get me wrong, though. Johnny did a great job that night, and both my opponents put on spirited performances. If either of them wants a rematch, they got it anytime. Especially MacElroy. I don't think either of us will be really satisfied with that ending. But a win is a win."

ELLINGSON: "Factor, you must consider yourself lucky that Mangas the Mongolian didn't make his way down to the ring to interfere!"

FACTOR: "I consider myself very lucky, Brian, that he didn't come down and offer himself up as desert when I plan to make him the main course. Ask The Camp what happens when you meddle in the business of the silver and black."

ELLINGSON: "That's... a weird way to put it, but an excellent point, nonetheless! Does that mean you're calling out Mangas for Battery?"

FACTOR: "Battery, Assault, Possession with Intent to Distribute. I'll fight him in the ring. I'll fight him in the parking lot. You see, Bri, Dingus Intrepid Egyptology is just a stepping stone. I'm gonna take the clean sweep and move on to the conference finals. and then I'm off to the Championship round."

ELLINGSON: "Wait.. does that mean you plan to take on PWA Heavyweight Champion Viktor Sokolov's open challenge?"

***The Factor smirks enigmatically***

FACTOR: "I can tell you, it's not NOT what I'm saying. But Factor This: there's a lot of gold in PWA right now, my dude. Some in much more deserving hands than others. I think it's time for a little class warfare. I think it's time for a little redistribution of wealth. So then I guess Only One Question Remains, Ellingson."

ELLINGSON: "Uhh... who's first?"

***The Factor smiles, like 'now you're getting it'***

FACTOR: "See you at Battery, Brian."

***Factor walks off, camera focusses in on Ellingson***

ELLINGSON: "There you have it, folks! Strong words from The Pacemaker! Will Mangas be his next victim? Or is there a Dominator waiting in The Future? I guess you'll just have to tune in to find out!"

***Camera fades to black***

CAMERAMAN: "Aaaaand we're clear!"

ELLINGSON: "Ugh... I think I need a shower. And a vacation!"
