***Scene opens backstage after Assault. Outside the locker area, a fresh faced young man in a PWA staff T-shirt smiles into the camera. He looks to be about 24, with a boyish smile and sandy brown hair with frosted tips***
REPORTER: "Hello, wrestling fans! This is Brian Ellingson! I am so excited to be a part of the big leagues here at the Prestige Wrestling Association! Join me, won't you, as we head backstage and interview the big winner of tonight's events, The Siberian Psychopath, Victor Sokolov!"
***Ellingson and the cameraman step into the locker room. However it is not Sokolov there waiting for them but The Factor, removing the tape from his hands. Ellingson goes deathly silent as the two men lock eyes for a long moment, before Factor breaks out into a big grin***
ELLINGSON: "Oh... oh no..."
FACTOR: "Oh, hey there, Brian! You look lost, did you make a wrong turn at the border crossing?"
ELLINGSON: ***softly, to the camera operator*** "I.. I think we got the wrong room, let's-"
FACTOR: "Whoa, whoa! Slow your roll, there, Mighty Cobra Junior! You're here for an interview, aren't you?"
ELLINGSON: "I'm here to interview Victor Sokolov! Not you!"
FACTOR: "Well, I can help you out with that! 'Johnny Ecks taste like chicken! Me am big time champion of Soviet Union! Huzzah!' There, saved you a trip."
ELLINGSON: "That's not what he sounds like at all!"
FACTOR: "Are you sure? We exchanged more than a few words when I was putting him through his paces."
ELLINGSON: "C'mon, let's get out of here..."
FACTOR: "Aw, c'mon! Don't be like that! Don't you want to hear about how I got the drop on DSV3?"
ELLINGSON: "DS... what?"
FACTOR: "Yeah, you know. Dick Cent Value Three. A legend, from back in the day."
ELLINGSON: "Cent is spelled with a C! And anyway, that isn't his name!"
FACTOR: "Is it, though? Think about it!"
ELLINGSON "Okay, smarty! How did you beat him, then?"
FACTOR: "Simple. At Season's Beatings I got to stand there and watch Johnny Ecks pick up apart like an old scab. Way easier than scouting him myself! In all seriousness, though, Pennyworth gave me a hell of a match. That second Money Clip, I felt the curtains coming down. I really thought that was it. But after the nightmare Ecks put me through at Warfare, I just absolutely was not going to tap again. Not like that. Nesides, I had to make sure I had MacElroy's full attention."
FACTOR: "I knew if I laid the right bait, he'd walk right into Dinkle's flabby arms. With the terrible advice he's most assuredly getting now, I feel very confident. The two men who came closest to dethroning the tag team champs; I'm going to knock them both down. Then I'm taking care of Mangas the Persistent Case of Athlete's Foot. Then... well.. I've got my sights on bigger and better things, and you can Factor That."
***Ellingson was skeptical at first, but has become more and more intrigued as The Factor elaborated. And despite himself, is clearly curious now***
ELLINGSON: "You.. you already defeated Victor Sokolov once, you think you can earn the Number One Contender slot?"
FACTOR: "Belts aren't all there is in this world, Brielle. Sometimes, a man fights for pride. And sometimes you can get two birds stoned with one bush."
ELLINGSON: "Wait that doesn't make any se-you're not thinking of challenging Johnny Ecks again, are you?"
***The Factor just smiles***
FACTOR: "Thanks for the lead-in. I guess you could say Only One Question Remains!"
***Factor picks up his bag and slings it over his shoulder***
FACTOR: "Just what IS The Factor planning?"
***Factor gently nudges his way past Ellingson and the camera, Ellingson stands stunned for a moment***
ELLINGSON: "Well, there you have it, ladies and gentlemen! Just what IS The Factor planning? Is he dreaming of gold, or hellbent on revenge! Stay tuned to PWA to find out!"
***Scene fades***
