There is a mystery afoot in MLW. TIGER GOLD will not rest until it has been solved...

***The scene opens with a video montage featuring images and audio from recent MLW broadcasts. A clip from a promotional voiceover mentions the recent signing of Tiger Gold and the screen flashes with a MLW poster announcing his appearance. Then the scene shifts to footage of the MLW broadcast, and the introduction of Tiger Black. Over jump-cut black and white images of a strange masked grappler entering the ring, the voice of the announcer questions what this individual has to do with Tiger Gold, and where the former PWA Champion is. The video package ends and the screen transitions to a blue and gold sequined backdrop. Tiger Gold stands center screen with his immense bronze back facing the camera.***

TIGER GOLD: “When Mainline Wrestling announced the acquisition of Tiger Gold... many were surprised by the news. None more so than MYSELF. For while it is true that the warrior-born never neglects a challenge... the truth of the matter was that Tiger Gold had not signed with MLW. Someone had advertised my presence in this organization without my prior knowledge.”

***Tiger Gold turns around to face the camera. He adjusts the tape on his wrists as he nods slowly.***

GOLD: “For reasons that were unclear to me... some party sought to align me with Mainline Wrestling... and went so far as to advertise that I would be present at that evening’s event... despite the fact that I was hundreds of miles away from the arena. So... much like millions of fans at home, I watched the program... eager to see what would happen when Tiger Gold’s name was announced. Then I saw him... a man clad in a black tiger mask... a wrestler going by the name of Tiger Black.”

***Gold growls under his breath.***

GOLD: “I did not recognize this man... but clearly, his arrival was a message for me. Whoever this individual was... he had gone to great lengths to make sure that I was watching as he stepped into that ring.”

***Gold paces back and forth.***

GOLD: “They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. If imitation was all this was... if this man had simply sought to attach himself to the legacy of this mask I wear with pride, I would be insulted and would demand satisfaction... but as I watched ‘Tiger Black’ attack his opponent... I became convinced that I had seen this man somewhere before. Something about his fighting style... his warrior spirit... triggered a memory in me. Something from the past of Tiger Gold has returned... and it must be confronted. I shall go to MLW. I shall enter that arena of the unknown to face this specter from the mist. I must prepare myself... my destiny awaits.”

***Tiger Gold looks up and makes a fist as the screen fades to black.***
