*** A roar of outrage echoes through the halls near the locker room. A battered steel chair flies through the dim light and clatters with a teeth-grating crash! BARTHOLOMEW “THE BRAWLER” BECKETT, so exhausted and furious he can barely walk, lurches through, knocking anything within reach to the grown, and then kicking it.

Stalking past a nervous-looking custodian, Beckett snatches the poor man’s pushbroom and smashes it on the wall,snapping it in two and throwing the pieces down the hall, then yanks the trash can up over his head, spilling some rubbish on himself, and throws it at the now fleeing custodian. Beckett stands there, his chest and shoulders heaving for breath.

Finally, he turns on his heel and continues down the hall to the elevator and hammer-fists the elevator button. It opens; he steps in.

*** The shot changes to a security camera in the elevator. Beckett stands there, breathing deeply, settling himself. Also in the elevator is PWA accountant HERBERT PUTTGRASS, 5’5”, 137 lb., mostly bald, wearing a Ginn and Smith’s two-piece suit, plaid necktie, horseshoe-pattern baldness, and a briefcase in hand. He stands there next to the former Lt. Heavyweight Champion as the elevator door closes to the tune of Girl from Imponina. ***

HERBERT PUTTGRASS: “That … uh … good match out there, Mr. Bec-”

*** With an ear-splitting scream of outrage, Beckett slams both of his hands into the elevator wall! Grabbing Puttgrass by the collar, he screams in the accountant’s face and shakes him! Snatching Puttgrass’ briefcase and begins smashing it against the walls and ceiling of the elevator! When the briefcase soon flies off of its handle, Beckett screams at the handle, then throws it at Puttgrass, then violently stomps on the briefcase, smashing it to pieces, and then stomping on all of the papers that fall out of it until the elevator doors open.

Once the door opens, Beckett clears his throat, kicks a piece of briefcase out of his way, and exits, leaving behind a cowering Herbert Puttgrass, who has wet himself. ***
