No more heros

[Rhett Holiday]

As the darkness begins to illuminate the sound of a clock ticking echos across the room. A large grandfather clock stands in the center of the room with the silver pendulum swinging back and forth. Two familiar children stand to either side of the clock looking into the camera with chilling smiles. The young girl is in a pale white dress with scuffed black shoes on her feet and a pristine bow holding her curly black hair into ponytail. The young boy in a pale button down shirt with a grey vest over the top. His black slacks go down and cuff just above his scuffed dress shoes. Both children begin to speak in unison


"Just as the pendulum swings, just as seconds fade into the past, so to will your heros. He will take the light from your eyes so that you may see the truth. He will take your hope so that you may feel the truth. He will lay waste to your world so that you may live in the truth."

The camera focuses on the girl

"Your lives will be changed for the better."

The camera moves to the boy

"Your hero's wont lie to you anymore."

The camera pans out to both again

"Your hero's will be no more. He is focused, he is the apex, he is your savior."

The pendulum stops mid swing as well as the ticking from the clock. An eerie silence engulfs the room as a fog emerges from the clock. The camera zooms in as glass encasing the pendulum fogs up and a name is written across it
