The Altar of Oblivion

**A bright, stark white room, devoid of any furniture or decoration. In the center, Cassidy Cray and Bokrug Manaj sit facing each other on two sharply cut onyx thrones.**
CRAY: “The prophecy was foretold. The altar was prepared.”
MANAJ: “Eight sacrifices came forth. Two by two they came and laid themselves on the altar until only two remain.”
CRAY: “They shed their life’s blood on our altar, oblivious of their purpose. They believed they could attain enlightenment through their struggle, but in the end…”
MANAJ: “…they only proved their ignorance. There has always been one destiny, and it was not theirs. They sought glory….”
CRAY: “…they found only blood and fire. Now for the final sacrifice. Talofa.”
MANAJ: “Tama. Your storm is but a brief gust, lost in the hurricane of unholy fury. Savages…”
CRAY: “…you know nothing of being savage. You seek fulfillment…”
MANAJ: “…you will find only emptiness.”
BOTH: “There is no balance, only oblivion. Embrace your fall.”
