***As aMx makes their way out of the locker room with Johnny Ecks in the lead, the group is surprised by an irate looking Rebel Wyld. He is flanked on both sides by Alyssa and Nikki. Rebel shoves his way past Talofah and Tamma and gets nose to nose with Ecks. The Mysterious jAi 1 takes a step back as his eyes dart between his team and the Wyld Family.***
ECKS: “Well look what we have here boys! Looks like a sore loser who doesn’t know when to quit.”
REBEL: “Who the hell do you think you are Ecks?”
ECKS: “Me? I’m just the guy who kicked your sorry ass all over the PWA Arena bro.”
REBEL: “You blindsided me after the match ‘bro’. Where I come from that’s not how wrestlers do business.”
ECKS: “Where you come from? Where’s that hoss? The 1980s? Cause this knight in shining armor stuff is tired, old-school bullcrap.”
***Rebel grits his teeth and lunges at Ecks, but Alyssa catches his shoulder and holds him back. She turns and stares daggers at Johnny.***
ALYSSA: “Now listen Johnny. I don’t know what the hell has you acting like this but I’m done putting up with it. You and I... we were NEVER a thing. And you need to back the hell off.”
***Johnny Ecks feints mock fear and looks over at jAi, who shakes his head and frowns.***
jAi 1: “I don’t know B... maybe we just let this one go. Bro, she ain’t into it and we got stuff to take care of. The tag titles and whatnot ya know?”
ECKS: “Come on bro... ya know I’m just playin’. And so’s Alyssa. We go way back man. It’s all good right girl?”
***Johnny leans in for a hug. Alyssa recoils but before she can fully react, Rebel decks Johnny Ecks in the jaw, sending him thudding into the hallway wall. Nikki grabs Rebel’s arm and wrestles him away from the conflict. jAi 1 catches Johnny by the shoulder and props him up. Tama and Talofah step between the Wylds and Ecks and fold their arms across their chests, creating a wall.***
NIKKI: “Rebel! Stop! We can’t take all four of these guys right now! Besides, we have the tag-team tournament to focus on!”
***Johnny Ecks checks his jaw and spits on the ground. He stands back up and pushes through the Samoan Storm and glares at the Wylds.***
ECKS: “Listen to the girl bro. You don’t want none of this. And you better believe you have bigger things to worry about. The Samoan Storm just made a damn STATEMENT tonight. We gonna run away with this tournament and there ain’t a damn thing anybody can do about it!”
***Ecks points a finger at Rebel and snarls.***
ECKS: “And YOU better realize you’re damn lucky hoss. You’re lucky you got your sis and niece here witchu cause they’re the only reason me an’ my boys ain’t puttin’ you in the HOSPITAL right now. Now you’all better get ta steppin’ right quick or my temper’s gonna get the better of me!”
***Alyssa pushes herself between Rebel and Ecks. She glares at Ecks and then turns to face her brother.***
ALYSSA: “Listen... he’s right. The last thing we need is to get injured before this tournament finishes. We need to focus. We’ll face the Samoan Storm in the ring in the tournament. That’s where we show these losers what the Wyld Family is all about. Till then... just cool it. I can deal with Johnny.”
***Johnny Ecks smiles, sticks his tongue out, and crotch chops himself.***
ECKS: “You hear that bro? SHE can deal with me. Ya feel the sexual tension in the air?”
***jAi 1 elbows Johnny.***
jAi 1: “Yo B, shut up would ya?”
***Alyssa faces Johnny and raises a hand to strike him... then puts it down and turns to lead Rebel and Nikki away. They make it three steps before Rebel breaks away and advances on Johnny. He holds a finger and thumb an inch apart in front of Johnny’s face.***
REBEL: “THIS close Ecks. You were THIS close to tapping out in the ring tonight. Next week... we fight your Samoan boys in the tournament. But the week after that... you’re MINE. And I guarantee you won’t blindside me again.”
***Rebel sneers at Ecks a moment longer. Ecks rolls his eyes and brushes off his shoulder. Alyssa grabs Rebel by the shoulder and drags him away as aMx cockily watch them go. Fade to black.***
