Following the match at Assault between Rhett Holiday and Rebel Wyld...

***The scene opens in the ring, directly after the match between Rhett Holiday and Rebel Wyld. An exhausted Wyld paces near the corner getting his wind back. Holiday is sitting in an opposite corner, a look of disgust on his face.***

GARY BLOOMFIELD: “What an amazing match ladies and gentlemen. That was one for the ages. Both Rhett Holiday and Rebel Wyld showed a ton of heart out there. And they showed the PWA Armada that the fighting spirit is alive and well in the heavyweight division. Understandably, Rhett Holiday is disappointed with the outcome, but he has absolutely nothing to be ashamed of as that match came down to the wire.”

***Holiday shoots a stern glance at Wyld, who ascends to the far post with his back to him and raises a fist to the crowd. Holiday sneers and swiftly pulls himself to his feet using the ropes. Rebel’s back is still turned as Holiday advances on him, his fists clenched.***

BLOOMFIELD: “Oh my! What is Holiday up to? This could get violent ladies and genelemen!”

***Oblivious, Rebel jumps down from the ropes... and is immediately reeled around as Holiday’s hand grips his shoulder. Rebel and Holiday stand nose to nose, staring at each other suspiciously. Then Holiday respectfully bows at Rebel.***

BLOOMFIELD: “Could this be? The Fallen, Rhett Holiday with a showing of respect for his competitor tonight?”

***Rebel looks at Holiday and then off to the crowd, who seem decidedly mixed on their feelings about the extended hand. After a long moment, he returns the gesture, bowing respectfully to Holiday.***

BLOOMFIELD: “This is unexpected folks, two competitors, both with history in Japan, showing mutual respect in a way that few are willing to do in this day and age. These two competitors left it all in the ring and they have perhaps gained some measure of mutual respect for each other in the process.”

***Holiday nods at Rebel. He backs away and rolls under the bottom rope. Rebel looks on and nods as Holiday makes his way up the entrance ramp. His expression is grave, but not malicious.***

BLOOMFIELD: “An amazing match with a surprising aftermath. Stay tuned ladies and gentlemen, there’s plenty more Assault coming up right after this break!”
