*** Back hallway, going to the locker rooms. RONNIE LASSITER, fresh from his match against THE SHOOTER, looks pleased with himself. Walking to intercept him is DAMION BLACK. He does not look so pleased. ***

BLACK: “Hey, Ronnie! Come here.” ***Ronnie goes to Black*** “What the Hell was that out there?”

LASSITER: "Well, off hand, I'd call that a check in the win column, boss." *** Black's demeanor then registers with him. *** "Uh … wouldn't you?"

BLACK: “Yeah? You beat a man twice your age and half your size. Congratulations. Ronnie, your victory was never in doubt, so why did you take so long? It’s like you were trying to give Shooter every opportunity you could for him to come back and beat you, and he nearly did! What was going through your head?!”

LASSITER: "I -- look, I didn't want to cripple him or anything, did I? I went out there put on a competitive match, and won. I staked my claim, and the fans loved it. Now, if-"

BLACK: “I don’t give a damn what the fans love! You listen to me and mark everything I say: you have a match for the Heavyweight belt coming faster than you think, and if you try that crap with Brian Fury, he will bury under the ring, you get it? You have got to fight Brian every step of the way and not give him any room to breathe! How you wrestle before the title match is how you will wrestle DURING the title match, and the Ronnie Lassiter I saw wrestling tonight will NOT beat Brian Fury! You need to pull your head out of your ass, block out the fans, and focus on destroying every obstacle in your path until that Heavyweight Championship is yours, understand?”

LASSITER: ***clearly frustrated*** "So it ain't enough to win, now? ***looks hard into Black's eyes, then looks away*** "Alright. If I have to start crippling to get ready for Fury …" ***slams his fist into a nearby door, leaving a dent***

BLACK: “Alright. Keep that anger in your eyes. Go shower, rest up. I expect you in my gym at 6 am. You have work to do.”
