Young Love

[Rhett Holiday]

The camera opens in an all familiar dark room with a familiar leather chair and familiar desk lamp illuminating a familiar ashtray with a still smoking cigar. In a flash everything is replaced with the set of 1970's dating show complete with white pillars wrapped in red linen with hearts hung from them. Three chairs are lit up with spotlights and an automated machine cheers and claps as an applause sign lights up. Rhett holiday steps out from behind a curtain with a small microphone in hand.

Holiday: "Hello everyone and welcome to Fallen in Love! I'm your host Rhett Holiday! Boy do we have a show in store for you this evening! On Fallen in Love, two willing and one unwilling contestant will be trying their luck at taking one lucky stud on the last night of his pathetic life! Let's meet our contestants!"

The camera pans back over to the chairs now with the first two being occupied by The Twins. The little boy is in the first seat swinging his legs anxiously. The little girl is sitting in the second seat with a big grin as she eats a sucker and waves to the non existent audience.

Holiday: "Contestant number one, tell us your name and what you plans our for the lucky bachelor!"

The Boy: "My name is Oliver and I just want a playdate that can't run away."

The automated crowd lets out an "Awwwww".

Oliver: "I'll be on my best behavior and everything! Promise!"

Holiday: "I'm sure you will champ! I'm sure you will... Now lets meet our second contestant! Little girl, tell us who you are and what you have planned for our lucky bachelor!"

The little girl hops out of her seat and begins to speak very fast.

Little Girl: "My name is Evelyn and I'm one hundred and three and I like candy and I like to play..."

Holiday cuts her off

Holiday: "Looks like we got ourselves a little firecracker here folks! Ha ha ha! Now why don't you tell us about your plans for the 'Playdate'."

Evelyn: "Oh yea! I have a tea party planned with some fireworks that are sure to go off with a bang! Like this!"

Evelyn pulls a brick of C4 from under her chair with a big smile. The automated Audience applauds and cheers.

Holiday: "Well now, that's a party I could get behind!"

Holiday winks and shows the burn marks on his neck and arms from his match with McElroy.

Holiday: "Ok folks! It looks like it's time for a commercial break! But stay tuned cause you wont wanna miss the reveal of our third contestant and of course the bachelor! Stay with us!"

The camera fades to the sound of cheering and children laughing.
