***The scene opens backstage at the PWA Arena. Wyatt ‘5’o Clock’ Sharpe and Lance ‘Steam Train’ Steamer are in the halls consoling a downtrodden looking Giant Anaconda.***

SHARPE: “Hey it’s okay man. He’s gonna turn up.”

STEAMER: “Yeah, knowing Cobra, he just… got lost on the way to the arena.”

SHARP: “Or got distracted by something shiny.”

***Anaconda pulls back his glove to reveal a Casio calculator wristwatch. He points vigorously at the date and glances between Sharpe and Steamer.***

SHARPE: “Yeah… its been two weeks. That is a long time. Well… you know, I’m sure he’ll turn up sooner or later.”

STEAMER: “He has to right? You guys won the number one contender’s match at Vendetta. You have a tag-team championship match coming up. If he doesn’t show up, you guys are gonna have to forfeit that shot. He has to come back to avoid that right?”

***Anaconda puts his fingertips to his temples and sighs.***

SHARPE: “Okay… well why don’t you retrace your steps? Where did you leave him last?”

***Steamer glances over his shoulder and notices Damion Black walking down the hall in their direction.***

STEAMER: “Quiet you guys, Mr. Black is coming. Anaconda, you can’t let Damion Black know that Cobra is missing. He’ll strip you of that title shot in a heartbeat. Worse, he might fire Cobra for breach of contract.”

***Damion Black stops near the three men and addresses Anaconda.***

BLACK: “Anaconda… I’m glad I ran into you. Where is Cobra? I’ve been trying to get ahold of him all week. The season starts this weekend and we need to talk about your tag-team title shot.”

***Anaconda vibrates nervously as a trickle of sweat slides down his bronze chest. Lance Steamer elbows Sharpe in the side. Sharpe shoots Steamer a dirty look, but then steps in and addresses Damion Black.***

SHARPE: “You know, the three of us were just talking about that Mr. Black. Would you believe it? Junior Cobra’s rental car broke down about two counties south. He just called Anaconda and asked if he could come down and get him. He uh… should be here at the arena in plenty of time for Assault.”

***Black raises an eyebrow at Sharpe, and then turns to Anaconda.***

BLACK: “Well, that’s fine then. Anaconda, when he gets here, tell Cobra that he needs to come see me as soon as he gets to the arena. I need to know when you plan on cashing in your title shot.”

***Anaconda nods vigorously and gives a double thumbs up. Black lingers a moment longer, eyeing the motley trio with suspicion, then walks away down the hall. As soon as Black has turned the corner, Anaconda exhales deeply and pounds the wall with one gloved mitt.***

STEAMER: “Aw it’ll be alright man. I’m sure Cobra will turn up any moment.”

SHARPE: “But what if he doesn’t? Black is gonna want to know what’s going on. One way or another, the Coldsnakes are gonna need to be ready to go after those titles come Assault!”

***Anaconda shakes his head in dismay as Steamer and Sharpe look on.***
