Backstage After Assault

[Ameronth]

*A camera crew follows a bloody and pissed off Spencer Watts to the office of Damion Black. An intern attempts to stop him only to get pushed aside as Watts rushed the door-*

WATTS: "Damion! What the hell was that?!"

*Spencer shoves papers off the desk and slams his hands down. Damion sets his pen down on the desk, looks up at Spencer, folds his hands in his lap and leans back.*

BLACK: "Could you be more specific?"

*Watts wipes blood off of his face and smears it on the desk.*

WATTS: "I stick around and break my word as a man because of your little pep talk after Assault a few weeks back, and I get cheated out of my match!?!?!"

*Damion looks at the smeared blood on his desk and sighs heavily.*

BLACK: "Spencer, what would you like for me to do? I own the company, yes, but I can't just reverse the referee's decision. If I set that precedent then nobody would listen to Bill White, in the ring or out of it, and I can't be the sole authority in PWA. So, what am I going to do? Nothing. Now the question is, what are you going to do? Tear my office up and throw a tantrum? Curse my name? Join Akira Wyld in his ramblings about how I'm holding everyone down and I care for no one but myself? You can do those things, but you'll have wasted your time and mine. You could, and I'm just suggesting this, but you could....... let this incident slide, just for now. Somebody got a win over you and they used underhanded means. That's not the first time it's happened and it won't be the last. Spencer, this is what a champion does. A champion faces adversity, looks it dead in the eye, and fights with all of his heart. Sometimes, when things don't go his way, a champion picks himself up and finds a way to push on. And then, sometimes,.... a champion has to take justice into his own hands....

"The choice is yours, but if I were you, I would start preparing for my next opponent. And, you have my personal guarantee that your next match will not end in low blows and eye gouges and foreign objects, or any of that garbage."

*Watts paces back and forth gritting his teeth and clenching his fists.*

WATTS: "You know what, I will get ready for my next opponent. Just know that from this point on, I'm putting PWA on notice. The absolute next person whether it be Bill White, a random fan, The Union goons, your locker room, or Hell, even you that screws me over... I'll be taking things into my own hands!"

*Damion smiles.*

BLACK: "I will be sure that message gets sent." *Damion extends his hand to Watts.* "Good luck in your next match. Bring everything you have to the ring and be prepared to push yourself to your limits. I'm expecting great things from you."

*Watts lets out a big sigh before gripping Damion's hand.*

WATTS: "This mystery opponent is on the wrong end of my gun sir."

*Spencer turns and slings the door open as he walks out.*
