Status of Armageddon

[Nick Spoils]

The setup is a press conference. There are a number of press members assembled, and a podium at the front of the room has the PWA logo on the front of it. Nick Spoils comes out from a door to the side, and steps up to the podium.

SPOILS: Thank you all for coming. This will be a statement only, no questions will be taken.

SPOILS: It's no secret that King of Deathmatch and Reckoning did not end on a positive note for the Union. Akira Wyld was stripped of his rightful championship. The so-called PWA forces defeated us in a six-man and an eight-man tag. We ended the season without a single championship to our name.

SPOILS: Unfortunately, that wasn't the extent of our troubles. Three days ago Gregor Sokolov, the man better known to the PWA Armada as Ragnarok, underwent neck surgery. This is a direct result of the injuries sustained at the hands of Alpha Omega in the last Tag Team Championship match. A direct result of Damion Black's mismanagement. Had that championship match been thrown out as it should have been, he would undoubtedly have recovered. However, he was forced to immediately be placed in another match, and two more matches shortly after that. It was made clear to us that no dissension would be allowed, despite the health concerns.

SPOILS: Because of this surgery, Gregor will be out of action for months, and will probably miss this entire season. That means that, at least for now, Armageddon will be not be seeking to regain our tag team gold.

SPOILS: In the meantime, Gehenna will be moving forward as a singles competitor this season. We have discussed his plans, and he will be making them clear soon enough. Despite losing a member, the Union remains strong, and we will continue to fight for the rights of ALL the employees of PWA. We will continue to fight the good fight, to try to show the other competitors how poorly they are being treated. The Union stands.
