***Tiger Gold takes a couple of steps toward the center of the ring and looks around at the unfamiliar arena.***
GOLD: “I stand tonight in a ring I have never competed in... because a voice from my past has summoned me. A man calling himself Tiger Black has risen through the ranks of the grapplers of MLW.”
***Tiger Gold looks down at his hands and sighs.***
GOLD: “I shall tell you now of a secret chapter in the story of Tiger Gold. For more than three decades, this mask I wear has graced rings around the world. Such longevity is uncommon for men who do what Tiger Gold does. The wear and strain of the war I wage is taxing. Some have even made hushed claims that the mantle of Tiger Gold has existed longer than any single grappler could sustain. Such stories are beneath a response of a true warrior born. But I will tell you this. IF... another man were to rise to take on the mantle of Tiger Gold... If this mask and title were to be passed on to another younger champion... that recipient would have to be an individual of unmatched ability and character. Few could stand strain of carrying such a burden.
***Tiger Gold looks up at the lights.***
GOLD: “What would happen if a man were given the chance to carry on such a legacy... and he collapsed under the strain? What would that kind of fall do to the psyche of an individual. How would that man reinvent himself in the wake of a failure of character on that magnitude? This... is a question that can be answered by only one man. And at PWA Undaunted... I will step into the ring with the man now known as Tiger Black. I will face my past... as will he. And once the dust settles... the legacy of Tiger Gold will have one more chapter etched into its tomes. Tiger Black... prepare yourself. For at Undaunted... your destiny... awaits.”
