***Stockholm and Cobra sit at the announcers desk minutes before the start of PWA Warefare.***

STOCKHOLM: "We are mere moments away from PWA's most destructive supercard ever! But before we take you live to the arena floor... one final word... from the PWA Heavyweight Champion, Nemesis Rex."

COBRA: "Oh hell yeah! The big boss, large and in charge one more time!!"

***The camera cuts to the hallway of the PWA Arena. Nemesis Rex walks slowly down hall as the camera tracks along with him. The PWA Heavyweight Championship is slung over his shoulder.***

REX: "In just a few short hours... the lights will dim and the music will hit. An arena of fans will explode in anticipation of the carnage that will follow. and Nemesis Rex will step into the ring one more time as your reigning, defending Heavyweight Champion of the World. I've been in this position more times than I can count. I've felt the weight of the world on my shoulders and held the lives and careers of countless men in my hand. I am Nemesis Rex... I am the Devil himself... and while the sun rises and sets and the world spins on... one thing has remained constant. One thing has stood eternal. That one thing... is that you never bet against the Devil. For as long as most of these competitors have been alive, Nemesis Rex has stood at the top of a mountain of thorns and broken bones. And tonight... in front of an arena of bloodthirsty onlookers... three men shall learn the painful lesson of what happens when they temp fate. Spoiler... Rhett Holiday... and Victor Sokolov all stand on the guillotine's edge. Soon that blade will fall. Nemesis Rex rules the world... and all others simply live in it. Get ready PWA... for WARFARE most vile."

***Rex shoulders past the camera and down the hallway as the lights go out one by one in his wake.***

PREPARE... for PWA WARFARE.

STOCKHOLM: "We're just a couple hours from the start of PWA Warfare ladies and gentlemen... and there are so many amazing matches on this show I can hardly contain myself."

COBRA: "I told you to wear those depends Ronnie."

STOCKHOLM: "In addition to five star-studded championship matches, we have exciting and highly anticipated encounters up and down the card. Four of our amazing 6-man teams will be fighting it out to determine the number one contenders next season to the newly crowned 6-man Champions, Johnny Ecks will be taking on The Factor in a ligament-twisting submission match, and Tiger Gold will be taking on the large and in-charge Average Jo in a battle of the super-heayweights!"

COBRA: "Average Jo eh? I mean... how the mighty have fallen, amiright? Gold was the freakin' heavyweight champion a few weeks ago! And now... he's gotta fight... JO?"

STOCKHOLM: "Well, while it's true that Tiger Gold lost his Heavyweight Championship to Nemesis Rex in unexpected fashion this season, I have to beg to differ when it comes to your assessment of his opponent tonight. Average Jo is the true definition of a super-heavyweight in this industry. Few competitors can match Jo's immense girth and the power that goes along with it!"

COBRA: "I mean... YEAH! That Thighmaster 2.0 is no frickin' joke! I know *I* wouldn't last long squeezed between those hamhocks."

STOCKHOLM: "To be sure. And few can deny that Average Jo has recently been making quite a mark on the PWA Heavyweight division. Jo is an up and comer who would love to put down a decorated champion like the legendary Tiger Gold. And with that... we have some words from the former PWA Heavyweight Champion."

***The camera cuts to a darkened room where a spotlight shines down on the sequined mask of Tiger Gold.***

GOLD: "Destiny moves in mysterious ways. As a warrior-born it is not my duty to question the will of fate. It is simply to stand strong against all that oppose the fighting spirit. Tiger Gold is a measuring stick by which all gladiators must be tested. To succeed in the ranks of the PWA legion... you must stand toe to toe with the immortal one. Tonight, I face a challenge most fierce. Average Jo is a warrior who's appearance belies a power and might nearly unrivaled in PWA. Tiger Gold has faced gods and monsters... and stood firm. Tonight shall be no different. Tonight at PWA Warfare, the world will witness gladiators locked in deadly combat. Blood will be spilled and justice delivered. The weak shall fall and the mighty shall stand triumphant. Tonight is the night that Tiger Gold re-ascends the mountain of glory. PWA... prepare yourself. For destiny awaits!"

***Thunder cracks loudly as the camera fades to black.***

STOCKHOLM: "When we come back... a word from the Heavyweight Champion... Nemesis Rex."

***Stockholm and Cobra sit at an announcer's desk as the PWA Arena is being set up for PWA Warfare.***

STOCKHOLM: "Another fierce budding rivalry in tonight's show involves the two -time former NWC World Champion Akira Wyld, and Damion Black's Champions' League. All throughout this season, the PWA owner boasted that his hand-picked faction would be the ones here tonight competing in the final round of the 6-man Championship tournament. And indeed, for weeks on PWA Assault, the Champions' League was nigh-unstoppable, racking up an impressive undefeated streak in Block B of the massive season-long tournament. That all came crashing down a couple of weeks ago however, as the Surgical Specialist renewed a long-standing grudge with Damion Black in dramatic fashion!"

COBRA: "That's right Ron-bon! My old Devil's Own running buddy Akira totally schooled Black and the Champions' League when he interfered in the finals of the Block B tournament! He ran down that aisle and cost the League the win, paving the way for the Wyld Family to head to Warfare as the only undefeated team in PWA!"

STOCKHOLM: "Some may not approve of Akira Wyld's tactics, interfering so his family members could advance in the tournament, but longtime PWA viewers know of the absolute blood-feud that Wyld and Damion Black have engaged in during PWA's past six seasons. Black is responsible for nearly ending Akira Wyld's career in a vicious assault in the locker room of the GWSW. Some might argue that Damion Black had this coming. But regardless, the Champions' League was unceremoniously eliminated from the tournament, and Damion Black was LIVID!"

COBRA: "And tonight he's calling on his blue-chip ace in the hole Alex Prime to take Akira to school for screwing over his plans!"

STOCKHOLM: "That's right. Captain Hollywood had everything to gain this season with a spectacular debut and a 'prime' spot in the 6-man Tournament. Thanks to Akira Wyld, his aspirations have become collateral damage in Wyld and Black's rivalry. Tonight, Prime has a chance to swing momentum back in his favor and put down a decorated main eventer."

COBRA: "And on the other hand, ma' boy Akira has a chance to FINALLY get one over on Damion Black at a supercard event! I love the guy, but ya know, he's currently standing at 0-5 in supercard matches! It's like he always has what it takes to get to the prom, but then shits himself on the dance floor during the big romance song!"

STOCKHOLM: "...and with that sparkling analogy, we have some pre-recorded comments from Akira Wyld heading into tonight's match."

***The camera switches backstage where a blue and silver curtain has been erected. Akira Wyld stands looking stoically at the ground.***

AKIRA: "This has been a season of highs and lows for me... on one hand, I began the season coming off a painful supercard loss to Johnny Ecks. He took my NWC championship belt and left me questioning my skills and my motivations. But then, fate paired me with Ronnie Lassiter and La Nieve in the 6-man Championship tournament. Through their friendship, I found a comradery and purpose that I hadn't felt for a long time. We fought as equals toward a common goal... and that felt good. We nearly won our block before being narrowly beaten by D.I.E. in the finals. But that was okay... because our fight gave me the confidence that I had been lacking. It motivated me... and reminded me that I had what it took to take on some unfinished business."

***Wyld cracks his knuckles and takes a deep breath.***

AKIRA: "I had hoped that I would be standing cross from the Champions' League at PWA Warfare for the 6-man Championship. But even though that wasn't in the cards... at least I prevented Damion Black from having the satisfaction of holding those belts high. When I interfered in that match, I knew I painted a bullseye on my chest. And I wouldn't have it any other way. Tonight I begin a journey to finish what I started when I came to PWA. Tonight I begin my mission to dismantle everything that Damion Black thinks he has achieved. And the first target... Captain Hollywood, Alex Prime. I have to say... ever since Prime came to PWA, I've anticipated a chance to test myself against him.

***Wyld looks up at the camera and smiles.***

AKIRA: "Real talk... Alex Prime, you are every bit as good as your press materials advertise. You have a combination of power, skill, and speed that you rarely see in this business. I've been waiting a long time to test myself against you. But here's a fact. No matter how good you are... no matter how motivated and hungry and confident you are... I'm AKIRA WYLD. I've held major championships in every company I've stepped into. I've beaten the best and I take a piece of every wrestler I step into the ring with. I interfered in your match HOPING that it would lead to the two of us fighting one on one. Tonight you show me just how good you are Captain Hollywood. Tonight, prove to me that you're more than Damion Black's running buddy. Next season... there's a PWA Heavyweight Championship out there with somebody's name on it. Show me that you have what it takes to play at that level. Tonight... Captain Hollywood and the Surgical Specialist are going to WAR."

***Wyld holds up a taped fist as the camera fades to black.***

STOCKHOLM: "Stay tuned ladies and gentlemen... more after the break!"

***Energetic theme music plays and the scene opens in the PWA Arena overlooking the in-construction PPV set for PWA Warfare. Prestige Wrestling Reporter Ronnie Stockholm and guest color analyst Junior Cobra are seated in the foreground at a desk emblazoned with the PWA Warfare logo. Stockholm stares suspiciously at Cobra.***

STOCKHOLM: "..."

COBRA: "..."

STOCKHOLM: "How did you get in the building?"

COBRA: "I never left Ronnie."

STOCKHOLM: "Sigh... ok. I guess we're doing this."

COBRA: "I am rock hard right now."

STOCKHOLM: "..."

COBRA: "You wanna feel m..."

STOCKHOLM: "ANYWAY, in just a few short hours, PWA will engage in all out WARFARE as the wrestlers of the Prestige Wrestling Association clash in the most cataclysmic, destructive supercard event in wrestling history! And all throughout the evening, we will be providing you with in-depth looks at some of the rivalries that have lead us to the edge of this barbwire-lined abyss!"

COBRA: "That's right Ronnie! We're only a short time away from the bowel-loosening impact known by our financial department as the winter-quarter fiscal-year pay-per view!! I hope you're wearing your depends Stockholm, because when the brown-note that is PWA WAREFARE is unleashed, no pair of BVDs will be safe!"

STOCKHOLM: "That's... that's right, uh, Cobra! For weeks we have seen rivalries play out on Assault. Boundaries have been crossed, pride has been injured, and injustices have been committed that only the mortal combat of all out war can settle! If I'm not mistaken, one such rivalry involves you Junior Cobra."

COBRA: "..."

STOCKHOLM: "Cobra?"

COBRA: "I'm not following you."

STOCKHOLM: "Well, you and your partner Giant Anaconda are going to be fighting this evening in a climactic tag team affair. Care to... weigh in on that?"

COBRA: "..."

STOCKHOLM: "Care to.. um... comment on..."

COBRA: "I have a match tonight?!"

STOCKHOLM: "Uh yes... you are... the Coldsnakes are taking on the Masked Saboteurs in... I think you're in the opening match."

COBRA: "Shut your mouth! Nobody told me!"

STOCKHOLM: "Cobra... there has been promotional material circulating for weeks with your name on the card. Just last week Gary Bloomfield announced..."

COBRA: "Nah I'm just messing with you Ronnie. Yeah, me and Anaconda are totally ready for tonight's match! The FIERCE and DEADLY Coldsnakes are so gonna beat the holy living piss-juice out of those twin losers!"

STOCKHOLM: "You sound pretty confident Cobra. While the Masked Saboteurs haven't had a perfect win-loss record here in PWA, they are known globally for their intense, smash-mouth style and have amassed numerous accolades from organizations around the world, including a very potent stint in iNCW. They are coming off of a less than spectacular run at the 6-man titles, and have a nasty chip on their shoulders. Are you sure that you and Giant Anaconda have a gameplan to overcome their size and arguable power advantage?"

COBRA: "Oh please Ronnie... the Coldsnakes have been around the block a few times and have a few tricks up our sleeves that the Saboteurs can't possibly be prepared for. You see... we have an ace in the hole. You may not have noticed this but... me and Giant Anaconda both wear MASKS. Masks that hide our identities and let us swap places in the ring during moments of confusion without the referee noticing a thing! With these masks... we are practically IDENTICAL. That gives us the kind of advantage that our opponents could only DREAM of!"

STOCKHOLM: "Your... 'masks'... give you an advantage over the completely IDENTICAL... MASKED Saboteurs?"

COBRA: "Yes."

STOCKHOLM: "And... you and Anaconda... because of your masks... are completely indistinguishable from each other?"

COBRA: "Like twins freshly squirted out from the womb."

STOCKHOLM: "Well... who can argue with ironclad logic like that."

COBRA: "I know right?"

STOCKHOLM: "Well... I certainly wish you the best of luck in tonight's encounter. I assume... you're going to have to go and get ready for your match now?"

COBRA: "Nah, I'm good. I shotgunned two five-hour energies about forty-five minutes ago. That means I've got at least 9 hours of energy left before my nap. I wanna hang around and help you with your commentary."

STOCKHOLM: "Oh... well, lucky me. At any rate, we certainly have a lot more to analyze here tonight... so stay tuned as we continue to count down the hours till PWA Warfare! Don't change that channel, there's plenty more to come after the break!"
