TRAINER: “All right Alyssa, I don’t think you have a concussion. But you contact Dr. Miller if you feel any dizziness or loss of fluidity at any time over the next 48 hours you understand? You really got your bell rung out there.”

***Alyssa nods and looks down at the floor, deep in thought.”

AKIRA: “Hey, you did good out there. Don’t be hard on yourself.”

ALYSSA: “Oh shut the hell up Akira. Johnny kicked my ass. After all he put me through. After everything with Damon and Rebel and Nikki... I had this one chance to redeem myself.”

AKIRA: “Don’t do that to yourself. Everybody has an off night.”

ALYSSA: “This wasn’t an off night Akira... and I’m not feeling sorry for myself.”

***Alyssa looks up at Akira and stares into his eyes.***

ALYSSA: “This isn’t the same Johnny. I’ve never seen him so vicious. He tore into me and there was murder in his eyes. Don’t take him lightly. This thing with the NWC Title has gotten into his head. He wants to kill you... and looking into those eyes, I’m not sure I’m speaking figuratively.”

AKIRA: “He’s always been a little unhinged... but you’re right, something is off with him this season.”

ALYSSA: “You think you have him figured out Akira... but I’m telling you... watch your back with him and AMX.”

***Suddenly, a nearby monitor airs AMX’s promo. Akira and Alyssa watch as Johnny Ecks announces Akira Wyld’s opponent in next week’s Rival’s Choice challenge.***

ALYSSA: “What the hell? He can’t do that! A handicap match? Against the Samoan Storm? That’s crazy! They’re going to kill you!”

***Akira pounds his fist on the wall.***

AKIRA: “Damn it. I just got outsmarted by Johnny Ecks. Kill me now.”

ALYSSA: “Don’t do it Akira. Take a disqualification loss. Don’t give him the chance to injure you before your Supercard title match.”

AKIRA: “No... I agreed to the match. Ecks gamed me, but he didn’t break the rules. He said we could chose anyone... he didn’t say it had the he just one person.”

ALYSSA: “It’s bulls*it.”

AKIRA: “I’ve fought long odds before. I’ll find a way to get through this.”

ALYSSA: “But how?”

AKIRA: “I don’t know...”

***Akira shakes his head and Alyssa frowns.***

AKIRA: “When Johnny Ecks started this ‘Rival’s Choice Challenge’... I knew there would be a long line of Wylds who wanted a piece of that egomaniacal bastard. Johnny Ecks has been a thorn in the side of my family for nearly three seasons now. But when it came down to it... there was really only one choice. IJohnny Ecks... you’ve had this beating coming for a long time.”

***Alyssa Wyld enters the frame, cracking her knuckles.***

ALYSSA: “Believe me Johnny, I had to fight off everybody else in the Wyld locker room for this chance. You’re on everybody’s hit list... but there’s nobody who wants to bring you down more than me. Two seasons ago, I lost my shot at revenge when you beat me at PWA Vengeance. That loss put me on a dark path that saw me leave PWA and travel the world in a quest to get better. Now, I’m back and I’m ready to bring you to your knees. So get ready Ecks, because in tonight’s Rival’s Choice, I’m going to kick your sorry ass.”

***Alyssa brandishes her fists at the camera. Akira slaps her on the shoulder and smiles.***

AKIRA: “You wanted a fight, and now you’ve got one Ecks. The beating you get tonight is only going to be the start of a long and painful journey.”

ALYSSA: “Damn right.”

***The Wyld twins share a determined smile and pose as the camera fades to black.***
