La Nieve sits calmly in a steel folding chair, leaning forward slightly so that she is looking at the floor.
LA NIEVE: So, PWA Black did not go as planned. My opponent, Mr. Beckett, put on an impressive, and for him rather clean, match and I came up short. Sure, he used brass knuckles, or whatever it was that Mr. White didn't see in his shorts, but let's be honest, this is something I should have expected and planned around. That I didn't is testement to Mr. Black's decision to give me as much quote seasoning unquote as he could. No excuses, but I was not as prepared mentally as I should have been. Well done to both of you, Mr. Black and Mr. Beckett. I applaud you.
LA NIEVE: But that was then, and this is a new season. A new challenge. And you can imagine my surprise when I found myself entered into the King of Deathmatch tournament. I... I honestly do not know what to think about this. Is this another attempt by Mr. Black to continue to wear me down? To keep me out of the Light Heavyweight picture? Or does he honestly believe that my skills translate well to this type of environment? Because truthfully, this is not my usual way of fighting. Sure, I'm strong. I'm agile. But weapons and brawls are not my strength.
LA NIEVE: I considered withdrawing. Even discussed it with Snow -- knowing that it could mean the end of my time here in PWA if I went against Mr. Black in this way, I still considered it. But then. BUT THEN, the announcement of the card of the first Assault came out. Where I will be facing off against The Fallen One. And just like that, Mr. Black's motivations for entering me into this tournament no longer mattered. Mr. Holiday and I have some unfinished business. And now, I have an opportunity to remedy that.
LA NEIVE: Mr. Holiday? I'll see you in the ring at Assault.Statistics: Posted by Snow — Tue Mar 03, 2020 7:21 pm
