Nick Spoils sits in a locker room. In the background, you can hear the sound of showers. He looks up at the camera with a smile on his face.

SPOILS: Akira, you have screwed us for the last time. Never again will you prevent us from gaining championship matches we deserve. Never again will you keep us from the lofty heights we aspire to. Never again.

SPOILS: As for you going to get your old buddies? We say bring it on. Bring Damon. Bring Rebel. Alyssa. Nikki. Hell, bring out old man Greco for all we care. The end result is the same -- PWA's greatest tag team will use you and your family as skeet, Akira. Or, if you prefer, dishrags. Or... he looks over at the showers...or bath towels. That's all you are to us, Akira. Something to be used up and disposed of.

SPOILS: It's time to end you. And when all is said and done, know one thing...you could have prevented ALL of this. Just remember that when you're a broken man looking back on your career filled with 'what could have beens'. This is all YOUR fault.

***The scene opens backstage shortly after Assault. Akira Wyld and Damon Knight are making their way down the hall in an awkward silence. Damon trudges a few steps ahead of Akira on his way to the Wyld locker room. As he approaches the door, he turns to Akira. Akira nods and looks around uncomfortably.***

AKIRA: “So... I uh... I appreciate the save out there. Armageddon had me... dead to rights. You’re probably the only reason I’m not in the hospital right now.”

***Damon sighs and puts his hands on his hips.***

DAMON: “Yeah well... don’t get used to it. You’re still an asshole.”

AKIRA: “This is true.”

DAMON: “But that doesn’t mean I want to see your career ended by those painted clowns. You know... it still burns me to see people referring to them as the ‘greatest tag-team of the generation.’ There was a time when people talked about the Wyldknights like that.”

AKIRA: “Yeah, what ever happened to us?”

DAMON: “What happened... was that you superkicked me off the stage after our loss at the East Coast Elimination Tournament.”

AKIRA: “Well... you did get pinned and cost us our shot at regaining the IWF Tag-Team Championship.”

DAMON: “I got pinned because you got distracted at ringside and weren’t there to head off the Nova Brothers double-teaming me into next week.”

AKIRA: “Yeah... look. I’m... well... maybe I haven’t always handled things the right way.”

DAMON: “Please... don’t start with this. You were in trouble and against my better judgement I helped. End of story.”

AKIRA: “I guess... yeah. But it doesn’t have to be. You’ve still got a hell of a lot left in that tank. And if those knees of yours can hold up... I could use a partner... at Vendetta.”

***Damon raises and eyebrow.***

DAMON: “A partner? What kind of trouble are you planning on getting in now?”

AKIRA: “I’m finishing the trouble I started. That means taking down Armageddon. And... I can’t do it alone.”

DAMON: “You realize that with Nakamura and Spoils out there the odds are against you and whoever is stupid enough to stand by your side.”

AKIRA: “So you’re saying the Wyldknights just aren’t in Armageddon’s league huh?”

DAMON: “The hell I am.”

AKIRA: “Is that a yes then?”

***Damon looks down and frowns.***

DAMON: “I’m an idiot for even considering this after the crap you put me through all those years ago.”

AKIRA: “You’re an idiot regardless.”

***Damon cracks a slight smile.***

DAMON: “The Wyldknights together one last time against stiff odds?”

AKIRA: “One and done. Don’t get used to it.”

DAMON: “Alright... alright. But you had better keep your damn ego in check. And I swear to God that if you superkick me off a stage at Vendetta I’m going to break you in half.”

AKIRA: “It’s a deal.”

***The two former partners shake hands as the camera fades to black.***
