TIGER: It is good to see you La Nieve. I take it you are well following our match? Your fighting spirit is strong?
LA NIEVE: Yes, thank you. Assassin and Sato are strong, but I’m holding up after our match.
TIGER: Excellent. You are a competitor of considerable might. Your future here in PWA will be a bright one.
LA NIEVE: And... I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for the match and for your support. You helped me get my first win here in PWA, and that means a lot.
TIGER: Think nothing of it. It was my pleasure.
LA NIEVE: It's a big deal for me. And that it came at the expense of the Assassin makes it that much sweeter. A little revenge for his taking the belt, a little comeupppance for his treatment of the women here. It's bigger than just the W on the recordbook.
TIGER: It was the first victory of many I’m sure.
**La Nieve lowers her head slightly and nods. Her brow creases in concentration.**
LA NIEVE: Only...No, forget it.
**Tiger Gold cocks his head at her curious expression.**
TIGER: Something is troubling you?
LA NIEVE: You are an honorable man, Tiger. Your career is legendary. Your skills unmatched. But you have already failed to live up to your reputation once this season. And our opponents tonight were being far from honorable.
TIGER: Speak your mind child. We are warriors and we approach conflict head on.
LA NIEVE: I have to know. I like the win, but I cannot claim it if the methods were unsavory. Did their methods get to you? Did you sink to their level? Did you...did you try to hurt him?
**Tiger Gold looks away and sighs.**
TIGER: This season has proved challenging. I find myself fighting against a weather-beaten body that operates at-odds with my eternal fighting spirit. The Assassin has accused me of stooping to methods that do not befit a warrior-born to combat this... weakness. And... yes earlier this season I encountered a conflict of conscience in my match against Crusher Sato. For that reason, I retired my fabled Tiger Breaker from my arsenal. I was forced to look deep within and find my champion soul. But I assure you La Nieve... as one honorable gladiator to another... despite what The Imperial Assassin may want people to believe... my actions in last week’s match came as a result of nothing more or less than the fire of the fighting spirit. My goal was not to injure The Assassin... merely to best him in the arena of immortal combat. This I promise you.
LA NIEVE: That is good to hear. I was worried for, for...for many reasons. You have eased my mind. Thank you.
