***The scene opens at the Sacramento GWSW training facility. In the background, students and aspiring independents can be seen training on a variety of weight machines scattered throughout the facility. Rebel and Alyssa Wyld are seated at a folding table, towels draped over their necks and plastic water bottles in front of them.***

ALYSSA: “It looks like we have the last match in the Beat the Clock tournament. Assault after next... versus The Masked Shooter and Ronnie Lassiter. One last chance to beat The Samoan Storm’s time.”

REBEL: “A time they got by beating US. It’s so damn frustrating. That pervert Johnny Ecks and his running buddies have been one step ahead of us ever since we got to PWA. I almost had him when we met at Assault. But he got the better of me... and ever since then we’ve been playing catch up.”

ALYSSA: “That’s what he does Rebel. He plays mind games. He bludgeons his opponents with... personality. He’s been doing that ever since the SHAFT days. You know that YOU’RE partially to blame for all this don’t you?”

REBEL: “What do you mean by that?”

ALYSSA: “I can handle Johnny Ecks, Rebel. From moment one, I could have stood up for myself and put that ass in his place. But you HAD to let your temper get the better of you and be a knight in shining armor. I’ve fought Johnny before without your or anyone else’s help. But no... you had to do what you always do. You got mad and you let him get in your head. This is half of why you and Akira could never get along, you know.”

REBEL: “What was I supposed to do? Just let that ass disrespect you like that?”

ALYSSA: “Yes. You think I would have stood for that crap if you hadn’t butted in? I’m a wrestler! I’m a WYLD. There’s nothing Johnny Ecks can dish out that I can’t take. But now... Damon is involved. You drew a stupid line in the sand and now his pride is on the line. Frankly, I’m sick of it all.”

REBEL: “Damon can handle himself. Johnny Ecks has a 6’6” bull on his tail now and he’s gonna regret ever laying eyes on you.”

ALYSSA: “Damon’s been out of the game for a decade now Rebel. His knees are garbage. I don’t know that he realizes what he’s stepping into here.”

REBEL: “He’ll be fine. And if Johnny manages to get by him, he’s still got a rematch with me to...”

ALYSSA: “NO Rebel. Not again. I need you focusing on our tag match. You want to stick it to aMx? Do it by helping me beat the Samoan Storm’s time. Avenge our loss to them and earn us a shot at the titles at the Supercard. You’ve run yourself ragged this season and its affecting our team.”

REBEL: “But... Ecks needs to pay. We can’t let him and his thugs win.”

ALYSSA: “They won’t. After Assault... after the tag-tournament... one way or another I’m going to make Ecks pay for what he’s done to me this season.”

REBEL: “In that case, I feel sorry for that piece of human garbage.”

ALYSSA: “Enough about him. It’s time we got back in the ring and prepared for the our match against Lassiter and Shooter.”

***Rebel and Alyssa get up and make their way to the ring.***

We remain true to our goals! We are the aMx and we real enough to stay!
