Fans, we promised you that we would continue following the action from our main event last night so that our TV and Internet fans could witness what our fans in house did. After that incredible hour-plus main event for the PWA Heavyweight Championship between defending champion, "The Natural" Kevin Starr and ... well, it is complicated, but I think you'll all agree that the footage speaks for itself."

"Kevin Starr's hand is raised in victory, and the fans are furious! What a din! I can hardly ... the second official, Paul Dennis, has the mic, but he won't be heard over the outrage of the Armada gathered here tonight ..."

*** Dennis raises his hands for silence, but it takes longer than he'd like before the audience settles down. As he waits, Starr leans heavily in one corner, the pain in his back from the punishment he took in the match clear to all, while Mac is in the other corner, towling the crimson mask from his face as the ringside medic tries to tend to the terrible gash in the Scotsman's head. Finally, Dennis speaks... ***

DENNIS: "Ladies and gentlemen, while the contest would go to Robert "Hard Man" McELroy by way of submission, it is the decision of the officials that, because Lance Steamer was, by contract, the legal man in the ring, your winner, by disqualification by way of interference, and STILL PWA HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION... Kevin Starr!"

*** the fans roar and "boo," and garbage pelts the ring as Kevin Starr receives his belt and, hugging it to his chest, rolls out of the ring. As he stumbles up the aisle, though, the bloody Scot rolls out after him. The fan's din rises again as he grabs Starr and turns him around, coincidentally near a camera, and the two can be heard to shout over each other:

MAC: "... not over, Starr! Aye baet you, and Aye'll doo it again ..."

STARR: "Who won? Who's got the belt? Huh? Who won? Say it..."

MAC: "... a coward! Yea're a coward and nae wearrthy of it ..."

STARR: " ... is in MY hands, big man! This belt is in MY Hands! If you wanna-"

*** Suddenly, McElroy launches a beadbutt into Starr's nose! Blood pours from both their faces as both men go down! Medics and security personnel quickly move in to separate and tend to the two gladiators ***

"Folks, I don't know what to say, except that this rivalry over the championship is far from over! Both men have proven themselves champions in this epic match of three bouts this evening, but there is only one championship title, and it cannot be shared! We haven't seen the last of this, you can rest assured of that!"

The scene opens up in the hallways of PWA

Johnny Ecks is seen walking to his lockerroom. There he is greeted once again by a familiar masked face.

Ecks: Yo!

Mj1: yo B! That fight was epic.

Ecks: you think so? I want to have a fight like Mac and Starr had. They had the epic fight tonight.

Mj1: yo, I guess so B! But check it out B! Your Superkick did it B! KO'd that son of a gun B!

Ecks: yo that was a KO special bruh. KO him daf**k out.

Mj1: fo sheezy you did. Looks like someone is on a little streak here, B! So what about my man the Tiger...

Ecks: look man, I know he's your fave and all, but chill out. I'D never trade you in mang, if you say you retired, lets leave it at that.

Mj1: you sure B?! You ain't tryin tah get me back out? Mey was tellin me that you was buggin about it one day, mang...

Ecks: ey look at here mang! You says you was done, lets leave it at that. MELLY is crazy mang.

Mj1: what about Linda mang?

Ecks: ey! Leave it be son. LEAVE IT BE!!!!

Mj1: aight. We leavin it be, B!

Simonds: Time to Sell

Scene opens with Richard Pennyworth sitting behind his desk, dressed impeccably in his bespoke suit. He opens his mouth to speak before glancing to the side at a computer monitor. He quickly types something, then turns the monitor off and faces the camera again.

PENNYWORTH: That'll be another hundred grand in the morning. Apologies for making you wait. This week, I take on Superstar Ed Simonds in the ring. Now, Ed is an interesting case, through and through. He and I spent a good deal of time sharing promotions in the past, but we never had the opportunity before to face each other in the ring. So, I'm looking forward to this bout.

But, Ed. Just because we've never faced each other doesn't mean I don't have you scouted. I've watched hundreds of hours of footage of your fights. I know every way that you've hit Starstruck on your opponents, and I have a counter for all of them. If I'm honest with myself, though, there is one thing I have to be alert for. Your speed is quite impressive. Must be because of your light heavyweight background. However, with that speed, Ed, comes your weakness. You are unable to take the power hits. My strength, Ed, against your speed. I know which one I'd bet on. And my stocks always come out on top.

(Jack Lane is walking towards the PWA Arena in anticipation of his match against Spencer Watts later that night. Ronnie Stockholm approaches Lane with a cameraman right behind him.)

Stockholm: Mr. Lane, the fans want to know how you feel coming into your match tonight against Spencer Watts?

(Lane stops with a slightly agitated look and speaks.)

Lane: I’m here and I’m ready, man. Listen, I don’t need to do much talking on the mic, I’ll do my talking in the ring! I heard what Spencer had to say and I went straight to the PWA offices and signed to face him again. We have a lot of things to settle....

(Lane points to the gash across his forehead that is healing but not fully complete.)

Lane: Watts busted me up last match and you best believe I’m trying to return the favor tonight. To get to Pantaro I gotta run through Watts and that’s JUST what I plan to do!! I gotta bounce. Catch me after the match, homie!

(With that, Lane pushes past Stockholm and enters the arena as the scene fades.)

Snow Addresses Beckett

Snow and Pantaro are sitting in silence. Pantaro has an icepack that he's holding against his neck. Both men are obviously lost in their own thoughts.

After about thirty seconds, Snow stands, and kicks his folding chair into the wall.

SNOW: Pensé que nos habíamos librado de este imbécil! He was gone! His career in PWA was over. That...that bastard didn't even miss an episode. And now...now he's right back to his old tricks, and he's got the shiftiest man in the company guarding his back. Beckett and Wyld together. Amigo, I just don't know what to do.

Pantaro shrugs.

SNOW: No, you're right. I shouldn't let him get to me. He's not an active competitor. He still isn't allowed to be in the ring. I still won. And there's Cobra. I should be focusing on that. Not Beckett. The Snake and the snake. Ironic, right?

Snow turns to face the camera fully.

SNOW: Beckett, I don't know how you wormed your way back into the company. But let's get one thing straight. You keep your nose clean and OUT of my business, or that of my partner, and we're good. I've proved myself against you once. Don't make me have to do it again.

He leans back, and the two Brothers relax in silence again as the camera fades to white.

Backstage During Assault

The following was caught by PWA backstage cameras during Assault, after Snow's victory over Rex Camelot.

Snow is walking backstage, a towel over his neck as he stretches out some of his limbs after the hard fought match. He turns a corner and runs smack into an immovable object. The camera zooms out to see Giant Anaconda II, a large sack draped over one shoulder. Junior Cobra flanks him.

Snow stares at the pair for a while as the sack squirms in Anaconda's hands. Finally, he sighs.

SNOW: Guys, let him go.

Anaconda and Cobra exchange a confused glance. The bag squirms slightly and Cobra quickly elbows it.

COBRA: I’m not following you. Let what go now?

SNOW: You know who I mean. Arzon. You have him in that sack there. Let him go, please.

Cobra and Anaconda exchange another panicked glance. Then Cobra throws up his hands and lets out a way-too-loud forced laugh and slaps the bag, causing Anaconda to jump.

COBRA: Ho ho ha... I see what’s going on here. You think think that... oh no no no. You see... I see how you might THINK that... but in fact you are mistaken sir. THIS bag contains far more than the sack of flesh and bone once known as Derrick Arzon. You see sir... THIS bag contains nothing less than the PRESTIGIOUS Derrick Arzon Championship. THE single most weighty and sought after title in all of PWA... NAY... in the world!

SNOW: The most ‘weighty’ championship amigo?

COBRA: INDEED! 193lbs last I checked. Compare that to the 11.5lb PWA Heavyweight Championship and you can CLEARLY see which one is more prestigious. A person would have to be ‘plum loco’, in your parlance, to give up a championship of this girth!

SNOW: Sigh... Amigo, that is a living person. It's not a title belt.

Anaconda holds the bag high over his head where Snow can’t reach it.

COBRA: Nope... sorry whitehead, I’m not giving up this championship without a fight! I don’t care who you are or how expensive your glorious, sequined mask budget is!

Snow puts his hands on his hips and lets out a patient breath.

SNOW: This is ridiculous. You know what, fine. I know you guys are hard up for cash. I'll give you $100 if you let him go right now.

Anaconda immediately drops the bag roughly to the ground, causing it to bleat loudly. He reaches his meaty hands for the c-note only to have Cobra slap them away sharply. Cobra puts up a single finger in front of Anaconda and waves it back and forth slowly. Then he turns to Snow with a vaguely sly expression on his face. He turns back to Anaconda and whispers something to him. Snow folds his arms and cocks an eyebrow at the masked duo. Finally, Cobra turns back to Snow.

COBRA: Ok frosty. I see what this is all about. You want a shot at the prestigious, inimitable, world-renowned Derrick Arzon Championship. Well... Junior Cobra is nothing if not a FIGHTING champion. So I’ll tell you what... hundred bucks and you get pushed near the front of the line for a shot.

SNOW: Wait no, I just want you to free the boy. I don’t even WANT a shot at... hang on. $100 and I get pushed ‘near’ the front of the line? That doesn’t even buy me an immediate shot for the ‘title’?

COBRA: SIR! I am INSULTED! In all my week as a wrestling promoter I have NEVER heard such a shameful line. A wrestler of your caliber and you want to just BUY your way into a championship opportunity?!

SNOW: What?! No no... I am a proud luchadore of a long and noble line. I’m just saying $100... wait... why am I even having this conversation. Look... I tried. I’m leaving and I’m taking my $100 with me. If you ever get serious about...

COBRA: Woah hang on hang on...

Cobra looks discretely back and forth along the empty hallway.

COBRA: Ok ok... $100 and you’ve got a guaranteed shot at the title.

SNOW: You’ll face me this week at Assault amigo? With Derrick Arzon’s freedom on the line?

COBRA: Well, no... but soon! I mean... I have contractual commitments to honor. This season for SURE!

SNOW: I don't...how...All right. Have it your way. You and me, THIS season. Just...just make sure you keep him fed, ok? Real food, amigo. Not the convenience store food I know you like.

COBRA: What now? You’ve lost me again. Anyway coldsnap, we have places to go and money to yoink.

SNOW: Money to..?

COBRA: YOINK!

Cobra deftly snatches the $100 and he and Anaconda bound down the hall, the Arzon Championship dragging roughly behind them. Snow stares after them for some time.

SNOW: Qu'est-ce qui ne va pas avec ces deux-là?

STARR: I wasn't gonna respond to you, MacElroy. I said what I needed at Rise of Kings when I pinned you 1, 2, 3, and this belt says the rest. I don't need to saying anything more to you.

But now, after what you said the other night, now I want to. You're right, being champion is more than just the belt, though it is so nice my waist is the only one that matches. It's about compteing and winning like a champion. Again and again, I've proven that I have the skill of a champion, the strength of a champion, and the smarts of a champion, and when you lost at Rise of Kings, you proved you just don't have enough to compete with a champion.

I'm done with you, MacElroy. Bring me someone, anyone who thinks they have a chance, but not you. You already proved that you can't do it.

Spencer is sitting at a bench waiting for his taxi from the arena with his duffle bag next to him and wrestling boots laid across the top

"Insane Jack Lane... Brother you're one of the best I've been in the ring with since this country boy crawled into the arena. Now I could sit here and go on about how we just had a hell of a match and how the outcome just wasn't what you thought it'd be, but my Daddy taught me to be humble. So with that being said I wanna thank you for helping me showcase that PWA has the best damn Light Heavyweight division on Gods green Earth. I feel like we went out there and pushed each other to the limits and I do apologize for bustin your head open."

Spencer looks at his watch then up at the sky with a big smile on his face.

"However Jack, if I remember correctly we're one and one right now and I wanna see who's really the best. I want us to go out there and showcase PWA and it's Light Heavyweight division one more time! 'Insane' Jack Lane vs 'The Blueprint' Spencer Watts, Best of Three match at the next Assault! Who knows, maybe Pantaro will want a piece of the winner?"

A taxi pulls up and Spencer approaches tossing his bag and boots in first

"Lets burn the house down one more time brother."

He climbs in the cab just before it pulls away as the tail lights fade to black.
